Chetty Builders is owned by Carl E. Chetty. He is under investigation by the Attorney General of Delaware, because over 35 buyers, have never received their deposit for condominium units, he never builld, but promised to built in Middletown, DE. He was sued by Daisy Construction, for more than 500,000 dollars, he owed to the Daisy Construction. The News Journal , a Delaware newspaper published the story in December 27, 2009. (Sunday). Philifox news has a video about this issue as well. Please, Please, and one more time Please, don't engage or enter in any time of business with Carl E Chetty or any subsidiaries. YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE YOUR MONEY............ |

FRAUD! Stay away from Chetty Builders Inc. They are very disorganized. Their floor plans are inaccurate and misleading to buyers (false advertising). If you do decide to go with this builder, please ask many questions and review ALL documents before signing ANYTHING. I received conflicting information from their Sales department and their realtor. Once again very Disorganized. In addition, their Sales and Marketing Department are very condescending. What ever happened to customer service? |

Comments:
They stink. They do not stand by their word. They are famous for promising you everything and giving you nothing.
We signed on 8/22 they didn't start digging until 10/15 (we had to literally have a meeting with them on the lot)... they still promised a 12/1 delivery and still couldn't deliver until 12/11. Meanwhile, my family of 5 and a dog were living in a hotel for 2 months without any type of remorse or compensation. Our house is still surrounded by a pile of dirt because they have yet to remove it and provide us with our landscaping package... it's now 5/20.
All we keep getting is excuse after excuse, promise after promise with ZERO results. Here's what they say... we don't have the equipment at that location, the weather isn't right or it's raining, it's taking longer than expected but with no reason why. It's truly a nightmare and really unfair.
Think hard and wise before choosing these guys... please beware. |
